INVESTITURE CEREMONY

The investiture ceremony marks the celebration of bestowing the powers to the leaders elected by the students. 

On 30th June' 2016, the Venus lawn was filled with enthusiastic students eagerly waiting for the investiture of the elected students. 






Mast. Parthiv and Ms. Zannat anchored the programme and were appreciated for their lively anchoring.

On this occasion Mr. Seenaiah, Chairman congratulated the newly elected council members and stressed on the need to become more focussed in their goals and to inculcate the leadership quality to become a better person in life. 





Ms. Sapna, Principal reminded them that they should strive hard to reach their goals and be real motivators. 

This occasion also mared the felicitation of the staff members who completed 5 years of service at The Creek Planet School.

ELECTIONS @ MERCURY

                                                                                                   

  “ WE ARE THE PUBLIC, WE ARE THE SYSTEM, WE ARE THE VOTERS OF CREEK. ”

             Elections  and citizenship education in school is a part of education in building a responsible society. The main goal of The Creek Planet  School is to graduate students with good character, trust and ready to take responsibility.

The Election process started with issue of scheduling. Once the date is issued the process of getting candidates began. The eligible candidates submitted their nominations on 22.6.16 along with duties and responsibilities. The candidates were given  a day time for withdrawal. i.e  on 23.6.16. The candidates campaigned in the campus with their speeches and posters. The elections  were conducted on 24.6.16 where the voters lined up for casting their vote. The counting of votes by election committee started with transparency and trust. The most awaiting part in election process is result. The official announcement of selected candidates will be declared on Investiture Ceremony.

TO DEVELOP LEADERSHIP QUALITIES AND A SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY IN THE STUDENTS,  VENUS CAMPUS HAS DECIDED TO APPOINT STUDENTS OF GRADE IV AS HOUSE MASTERS, WHO WILL WORK ON THE DISCIPLINE AS WELL AS ENCOURAGE AND MOTIVATE THEIR HOUSE MEMBERS FOR BEST PERFORMANCE IN ALL THE COMPETITIONS TO BE CONDUCTED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. TWO MEMBERS FROM EACH HOUSE WERE NOMINATED BY THE MENTORS, AMONG WHICH, ONE IS BEING ELECTED BY THE HOUSE MEMBERS AS THEIR MASTER. STUDENTS WERE VERY EAGER AND EXCITED TO CAST THEIR VOTES AS THIS WAS THEIR FIRST EXPERIENCE OF CHOOSING THEIR OWN LEADER. ELECTION CAMPAINING AS DONE BY THE CANDIDATES FOR TWO DAYS FOLLOWING WHICH ELECTIONS WERE CONDUCTED ON 24th OF JUNE' 2016, IN A VERY DISCIPLINED AND ORGANIZED MANNER.
